MOTTO MOTTO’S FIRST FRANCHISEES TAKE SECOND BITE

Following a successful year in their restaurant, Motto Motto’s first franchise partners have invested in their second location. The Carindale franchise partners Frank Jiang and Linda Zhang have undertaken a new business venture and further invested in Motto Motto Westfield Garden City. This restaurant was Motto Motto’s first ever location, and it now marks 30% of the restaurant network being franchise-owned.

Chief Operating Officer Matt Fickling said, “Our first franchisees have truly embraced our philosophy and we could not be prouder. Motto means more, and we have every confidence that Frank, Linda, and the team will continue to provide premium dining experiences for our Garden City guests.”

The newly refurbished Garden City restaurant offers premium-casual dining and boasts a modern Japanese mural by local Gold Coast artist, Bastian Allfrey. Garden City is the brand’s founding restaurant, and despite COVID lockdowns and restrictions over the last 18 months, the location continues to delight Mount Gravatt locals.

Frank said, “Despite the pandemic, we have seen our Carindale restaurant grow from strength to strength. We embraced the challenge and the results have been rewarding. Further investing in the brand and purchasing Garden City were easy decisions for us to make. We are committed to bringing more service and more value to our guests across both restaurants. It gives us great pleasure to see customers enjoying their experience when they dine with us.”
