MOTTO MOTTO WELCOMES NEW FRANCHISE PARTNERS AS 28TH RESTAURANT OPENS IN PERTH
Matt, Chloe, Kendall, Ayumi and Holly
We're excited to welcome new Owner-Operators to the Motto Motto family as we prepare to open our 28th restaurant nationally at Galleria Shopping Centre in Perth on 19 November 2026.
It's another exciting milestone for Motto Motto Japanese Kitchen as we continue to grow our footprint in Western Australia, with our second Perth restaurant set to open at Galleria Shopping Centre in Morley on Thursday, 19 November.
Following our first WA opening at Currambine in September, Galleria represents another important step in our expansion across Perth. But what makes this opening particularly special is the partnership behind it.
A PARTNERSHIP ALMOST THREE YEARS IN THE MAKING
Our relationship with MS Group WA began almost three years ago, and we're incredibly proud to see that journey reach this exciting milestone.
Led by Managing Director Soon Khoo, MS Group WA brings valuable business experience, a strong understanding of the Western Australian market and a shared vision for the future of Motto Motto in Perth.
Over the past three years, we've had the opportunity to build a strong relationship with the team, and we're excited to officially welcome them to our growing network of owner-operators.
For MS Group WA, the decision to invest in Motto Motto was driven by confidence in the brand's direction, leadership and long-term growth potential.
"Motto Motto has carved out a compelling position in the fast-casual restaurant market," said Soon Khoo, Managing Director of MS Group WA.
"Guests get the convenience and accessibility of a quick-service restaurant, while the food quality, freshness and hospitality provide a more premium experience."
Soon also highlighted the strength of Motto Motto's restaurant performance and the experience of the leadership team as key factors in the group's decision to invest.
"Strong leadership is essential in such a competitive market," he said.
Chloe Leong, Opportunity Lead and a member of MS Group WA, will lead the on-the-ground delivery of the new restaurant at Galleria, working closely with our Support Office team ahead of opening.
We're looking forward to supporting Chloe and the broader MS Group WA team as they bring the Motto Motto experience to the Morley community.
CONTINUING OUR GROWTH IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Galleria will become our 28th restaurant nationally and second in Western Australia, following the opening of Currambine just two months earlier.
Located within the redeveloped Galleria Shopping Centre, the new restaurant will open ahead of the busy Christmas trading period, bringing our signature Japanese favourites and brand new menu to Perth's north-eastern suburbs.
With plans to establish 10 restaurants across Western Australia over the next four years, we're excited about the opportunities ahead, including our next planned WA opening at Midland Gate in the new year.
BUILT ON STRONG PARTNERSHIPS
As our network continues to grow, we're reminded that every new restaurant represents much more than another location on the map.
It's the people behind our restaurants, the relationships we've built and the shared commitment to growing the Motto Motto brand that make these milestones so rewarding.
Our journey with MS Group WA is a great example of this, and we're proud to have partners who share our confidence in the brand and our vision for its future.
A big congratulations to Soon, Chloe and the entire MS Group WA team. We're excited to welcome you to the Motto Motto family and look forward to supporting your success at Galleria and beyond.
